The Volunteer Coordinator's responsibilities include recruiting and training new volunteers, keeping a database of volunteer information and skills, matching volunteers to opportunities that suit their skills, keeping volunteers informed, and conveying the organization's purpose to the public.

Volunteer Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Recruiting, training, and supervising new volunteers.

  • Collecting volunteer information, availability, and skills, and maintaining an up-to-date database.

  • Keeping new and existing volunteers informed about the organization and volunteer opportunities.

  • Matching volunteers to opportunities that suit their skill sets, and ensuring they understand their responsibilities and receive the proper training.

  • Organizing training and leading on-the-job training.

  • Keeping schedules and records of volunteers' work.

  • Preparing codes of conduct and operating procedures to uphold the organization's values.

  • Ensuring the organization's purpose is coveyed to the public.

Volunteer Coordinator Requirements:

The Fundraising Officer is responsible for the coordination of fundraising events and initiatives for the Transplant Families. The Fundraising Officer is directly responsible to the President and members of Transplant Families.

Tasks of the Fundraising Officer:

  • Develop a fundraising action plan

  • Identify and suggest fundraising opportunities;

  • Keep records relating to fundraising monies;

  • Provide monthly updates to the committee regarding fundraising duties and events.

  • Opportunity to work in a positive and encouraging environment.

  • Can communicate effectively and has good interpersonal skills.

  • Is well informed of all organization activities.

  • Is aware of the future directions and plans of members.

  • Is positive and enthusiastic.

  • Access to the internet, email, web, MS Word, MS Excel or equivalent/compatible Appointment terms and Time Commitment Required

  • The Fundraising Officer is appointed for a term of 24 months.

  • The estimated time commitment required as the Fundraising Officer is “5” hours per week.

  • Attendance at monthly Committee Meetings (approx 4 hours in length).


We are searching for a talented and professional Community Outreach Coordinator to maintain local community outreach activities. You will represent the company and work with the management team to develop and implement initiatives that increase company visibility within the surrounding community.

You need to be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and community-driven to take on this exciting role. This position requires someone equipped with a positive attitude and readiness to be a team player.  We prefer a transplant parent and that your child be at least one-year post-transplant.


  • Maintain a calendar of outreach activities, including community events, workshops, appearances and other communication opportunities in your area

  • Prepare an annual budget for community outreach activities.

  • Nurture new and old relationships with collaborative partners.

  • Schedule regular outreach exhibitions in the community and educate employees on community responsibility.

  • Assist in the organization of special events, including donor/volunteer appreciation events and other fundraising initiatives.


  • Preferred experience of 3-5 years within a non-profit.

  • Outstanding written communication and presentation skills.

  • Experience preparing reports.

  • Friendly, enthusiastic and positive attitude.

  • Strong knowledge of social media and other basic marketing platforms.

  • Detail-orientated with the ability to manage multiple projects at a time.


We are searching for a talented and motivated Event Coordinator to organize outstanding and unforgettable events. You will be responsible for every part of event preparations, such as choosing venues, approving menus, developing seating plans, and evaluating success afterward.

As the Event Coordinator, you should be well-organized and possess a sound knowledge of vendor management. Excellent communication and attention to detail skills are vital in this role, as our success depends on meeting our client's tailored requirements.


  • Identify the client’s requirements and expectations for each event.

  • Liaise with vendors, exhibitors, and stakeholders during the event planning process to ensure everything is in order.

  • Manage all event set-up, tear down and follow-up processes.

  • Maintain event budgets.

  • Book venues, entertainers, photographers, and schedule speakers.

  • Conduct final inspections on the day of the event to ensure everything adheres to the client’s standards.

  • Assess an event’s overall success and submit findings.

Informational Technology Web Development student intern will assist in updating and editing content for and other sites or apps, creating and editing web page templates, and assisting in other web-related or technology projects, as necessary. 

Duties & Responsibilities
Projects may include, but will not be limited to:

·       Design, recommend, and pitch improvements to new and existing features.

·       Assist in troubleshooting issues on web-based systems.

·       Update and edit website content, posts, and pages.

·       Provide technical support related to web-based systems to internal teams.

·       Test and give feedback on new and existing technologies.

·       Create prototypes and experiment with new technologies and features as assigned.

Ideal candidate
We are looking for a highly motivated, passionate team player on the path to becoming a great web or app developer. Some experience with Wix, HTML, and/or CSS is required. Must have the ability to work independently to solve problems and learn new skills as required.
