Gift of Life Camp Jeremy
A week-long summer day camp that brings together children who have undergone a life-saving transplant, and their siblings, for a week of fun and friendship.
Camp Jeremy is offered free of charge. Transplant recipients, and their brothers and sisters, from ages 5 to 16, are welcome to attend if they live in the Gift of Life region, which encompasses the eastern half of Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey and Delaware.
Camp Jeremy is held at Camp Shelly Ridge in Lafayette Hill, PA, and transportation is provided from the Gift of Life office and Nemours Children’s Hospital.
Camp Jeremy is inspired by Jeremy Clemens, a young heart transplant recipient who worked as a camp counselor at Mermaid Country Day Camp, in Blue Bell, Pa. In his memory, Jeremy’s family continues to honor his life by having transplant recipients enjoy a week at the camp.
