Mommy Can Play Again

The 36 page colorful book uses the true story of a chapter mother's double lung transplant, adapted and illustrated by her two children and those of our other member families. Through her story and those illustrations, children of a family where some other member of that family is facing a transplant can come to understand what is happening in their own children's language. The story is aimed at children ages 3 through 10, the actual ages of the children who created the book (as seen in the back pages after the story).
