Camp Sunshine

Founded in 1984, Camp Sunshine provides retreats combining respite, recreation and support, while enabling hope and promoting joy, for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families through the various stages of a child’s illness.

Camp Sunshine's program is offered year-round and has the distinction of having been designed to serve the entire family in a retreat model. The program is free of charge to families and includes on-site medical support. A bereavement session is also offered for families who have experienced the death of a child from a supported illness.

We would like to ask for your assistance in sharing this information with families in the care of your practice. We do welcome returning families but encourage new families to explore this unique opportunity as much as possible.

As you share this information, it is important to note that applications must be complete before they are submitted to be considered. Placements will be made on a first-come, first-served basis. As this is our first year returning to in-person programming we do expect our camps to fill quickly to the capacity we have available for each week.
