Clayton State University professor hosts organ donation information session

MORROW, Georgia — A Clayton State University professor working to help a student find an organ donor is gearing up to host a transplant awareness event.

School spokesman John Shiffert says Sarah Stein, a criminal justice professor, is leading an informational event to raise organ transplant awareness and educate others on Lupus, which has left 34-year-old student Rosalynn Gresham, of Hampton, Georgia, in need of a kidney transplant.

Shiffert says Gresham has battled Lupus for nearly half of her life, dividing her time between the classroom and hospital stays.

The information session is being held April 3 on the second floor of the James M. Baker University Center.

Morrow is about 15 miles south of downtown Atlanta.
