The Gwinnett Braves will welcome Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta transplant recipients Saturday for a pregame picnic and parade.
The 15th annual Second Chance event will honor more than 60 pediatric heart, kidney and liver recipients as the G-Braves prepare to face the Toledo Mud Hens. Players will meet and greet the transplant families and provide photo opportunities during the picnic.
The picnic starts at 4 p.m., with the parade around Coolray Field, located at 2500 Buford Drive in Lawrenceville, following at 6: 05 p.m.
The first pitch between the Gwinnett Braves and Toledo Mud Hens is 7:05 p.m.
