MiTALE Study: Young adult transplant voices needed (ages 18–30)

If you are a young adult who has grown up with transplant, or you love a young adult who has, you already know this stage is its own kind of journey. College or work. Insurance. Med independence. Dating. Mental load. Explaining your story to new people. Finding your people.
This study is a chance for young adults to connect with others who “get it,” and to share lived experience in a way that can shape better support for the next group coming up behind them.
Parents and caregivers of young adults: if your young adult is 18–30 and has had a heart, liver, or kidney transplant, consider forwarding this post to them. The study is designed for the young adult to participate independently.

The Michigan Transition to Adulthood Lived Experience (MiTALE) Study is looking for young adults ages 18 to 30 who received a heart, liver, or kidney transplant to share their thoughts in an online study!
What would I do?
📲 Respond to weekly question prompts in an online, anonymous forum over a 2-month period
💬 See and respond to other participants’ online posts
Who can join?
🫀 Young adults, ages 18-30 years, who have received a heart, liver, or kidney transplan
🛜 Must have access to internet & a device to log into the online forum, and be able to
read to & respond to questions posted without help from others
Will I be paid?
💵 Yes, up to $70 over the course of the study
