Are your kids Fortnite gamers? Here’s their chance to support research in pediatric transplant while playing the games they love.
This Heart Month, an innovative new quest inside Fortnite’s Super Pet World is blending storytelling, empathy, and real-world impact in a way we have never seen before.
Enduring Hearts has partnered with Ghost Gaming to launch a limited-time experience called “Side Quest: Heartbeat on the Wind.” The quest invites players into the story of Alice, a young girl awaiting a lifesaving heart transplant, and her loyal companion Meep Neep.
Through immersive gameplay, players help build the Turnipa Backpack, an advanced mechanical device inspired by real-world research that supports children while they wait for transplant. The experience is designed to be emotional, accessible, and meaningful without feeling heavy or overwhelming. It meets players where they are, inside a game they already love.
Gaming Meets Purpose
This collaboration shows what is possible when technology, storytelling, and mission-driven organizations work together. Instead of simply reading about pediatric transplant, players experience a journey. They explore, problem-solve, and walk alongside a character navigating life while waiting for a new heart.
The quest runs throughout February and will sunset in March. Rewards earned during the quest remain permanently unlocked for players.

While the story centers on pediatric heart transplant, anyone can log in and play.
You do not have to be a transplant family. We welcome transplant recipients, siblings, classmates, gamers, neighbors, and supporters of all kinds.

How to Access the Quest
Download Fortnite for free on PC, Xbox, PlayStation, or Nintendo Switch
In Fortnite, select “Play” and search for Super Pet World
Enter the island and begin “Side Quest: Heartbeat on the Wind”
