Make your voice heard in policy development!

From our friends at UNOS:

We want to reach out to you to inform you of the opportunity to attend and engage at the Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (OPTN) Regional meetings. Twice a year, the OPTN holds meetings for the 11 OPTN regions. These meetings will occur in person, with a virtual option. The meetings are your opportunity to learn more about the work of the OPTN, ask questions, and provide feedback. As a person who has personal connection to transplant and donation we encourage you to attend the regional meeting in your area (or virtual) to learn about the initiatives and programs designed for transplant patients and their families. Click here to View Regional Meeting details and register today

OPTN values diversity and strives for Board and Committee membership that reflects the professionals, patients, donors, and families that make up the donation and transplantation community. Please visit the OPTN Website to learn more about the proposals using available resources, including brief videos, and submit your comments! Regional meetings are an opportunity to influence policy proposals, prepare for upcoming changes, and hear perspectives from the transplant community about improvements to organ allocation. We’d love to hear from you and welcome your attendance.

Have questions? Ask someone from Transplant Families for help. We have other caregivers that would love to help and already attend regional meetings as well.
