According to the family’s Facebook page, Luke’s Heart, the transplant took several hours and Luke is now in the intensive care unit at Riley Children’s Hospital.

Chapman was born with a heart defect and has been waiting months for a transplant.

The family’s now praying that Luke’s body accepts his new heart.

They say they’re so incredibly grateful for all of the prayers.
